Crudité platters are a party essential—every gathering needs a crisp, refreshing mix of veggies to offset all of the grease and fried foods on the table (which are also essential, in my opinion).
While organizing a Return to Hogwarts-themed back-to-school party for my kids (and PureWow) recently, I decided to expand on the traditional spread with a Crudi-tots platter. A smattering of tater tots helped lure the kids at the party to the vegetables, and they wound up eating both in the process. Little victories, right?

The mix of crispy spuds, crunchy vegetables and a ton of dips—which tend to complement both—was such a hit that I realized it’d be a great addition to my Super Bowl spread. Or, you know, any Girl Dinner.
If you’re looking for some inspo to craft your own spread, here are a handful of ideas.

What to Serve on a Crudi-Tots Platter
- Tater tots are a must (save some time and pop ’em in the air fryer)
- Cauliflower or broccoli tots (for variety!)
- At least two kinds of fresh produce (ideally 3-4):
- cucumbers
- carrot sticks
- sugar snap peas
- celery sticks
- bell pepper slices
- zucchini coins
- cauliflower florets
- broccoli florets
- grape tomatoes
- At least three dips (because dips make the spread, honestly):
- Ranch (I like to use a seasoning mix for a less gloppy consistency than the bottled stuff)
- Good & Gather Buffalo Chicken Dip (or homemade!)
- Good Foods Cucumber Feta Tzatziki Dip
- Good Foods Avocado Salsa
- Bitchin’ Sauce (it’s a tangy, almond-based umami dip no mere mortal can resist…unless they’re allergic)
