The people have spoken! And honestly, I get it—Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl is everywhere right now, so there are few costume ideas more zeitgeisty than it (along with Labubu and KPop Demon Hunters, of course).

After sharing a few Showgirl ideas from Taylor’s latest era, the story quickly became one of our most popular costumes this season, so I wanted to share an idea based on her “Fate of Ophelia” music video.

While there are a ton of Ophelia-inspired looks to draw from, the easiest to replicate—and the most wearable, post-October 31st—is her modern pop star look. (Plus, how stunning is that dress?!)

Her actual Kelsey Randall chainmail dress will set you back nearly $3,500, but I’ve found a similar shimmering style at Cider for $33. And on that note, Swift’s faux-mink coat is out of stock—it’s part of her merch line—but I found a fuzzy aqua number that could be a solid stand-in.
