In any other city, traffic would stop. People everywhere would gawk. And to some degree, they did. But in a city like New York, a girl leaping from robin’s egg blue taxi to robin’s egg blue taxi is, well, just another day in New York. The bizarre is all around you, all the time. Sometimes, though, you have to stop and appreciate the spectacle.

That’s what happened today, and it was so awesome I couldn’t resist sharing it with you. Tiffany & Co. painted the city blue — or, at least, seven places in the city — creating a scavenger hunt of sorts as people stalked Instagram and Twitter to catch all of them before the day ended (and they disappeared). The company pulled out all the stops to promote its new Paper Jewelry collection (more on that here), wrapping its flagship Fifth Avenue store in Banksy-style graffiti, and covering taxis, bodegas, flower stands, ladders, and subway cards in its signature shade of teal-ish blue. It was a striking sight, when in the more bustling corners of Manhattan.

Outside of the flagship store, a food truck handed out free croissants and cups of coffee, letting people enjoy breakfast at Tiffany’s a la Holly Golightly in the classic movie. A giant LED clock in front of the store occasionally broadcast a message, alerting people that at 9 p.m. EST, a Facebook Live would reveal a special announcement, all from that location. What that means, I’m not sure, but then again, I was too busy tearing into my second breakfast. (Yes, second. Don’t judge.)

Just a few blocks from the Fifth Avenue store, a few people paused, mostly puzzled before dashing to their next destination, as pro dancer Maddie Ziegler leapt and twirled on the hoods and trunks of two Tiffany’s-branded taxis. Check it out:

Ah, just another day in NYC.
