Years ago, I launched Collegiate Cook, a site devoted to sharing easy recipes for university students. However, one franchise I started on a whim, which totally didn’t fit the food bloggy nature of the site, really took off: The 13 Days of Pop Culture Halloween Costumes. It was far and away my breakout hit, driving tons of traffic for a few months each year. And, while it was a lot of work to source the costumes for each post, I really loved it.
So, I decided to bring it to Life Between Weekends. Starting Wednesday, October 4, we’ll share 13 days’ worth of Halloween costumes and snacks, all inspired by entertainment, news, culture and trends. Each day will bring you a new costume or recipe idea—or an update to an old favorite with fresh links to get the looks—so be sure to check back on the regular to see the latest.
